Voice Over Solutions for Schools Video and audio class

In Atlanta Georgia we were invited to a local High School to help find a solution for doing Voice over for their Video/Audio class. Currently they were trying to refurbish a janitor;s closet into a vocal booth by sticking some foam to the walls.  It did not work too well.

We presented the AVB33 – Acoustic Vocal Booth 3 x 3, that delivered great sound right there in the Video room. In this video we also quickly touch on WHY do you need to have your room acoustically treated.

Portable Vocal booth delivers consistent sound anywhere I go. – Testimonial.

in this Testimonial Dean Wendt – professional Voice actor for over 25 years, picks up on often overlooked advantage of VOMO – Voice Over MObile recording studio – it its consistency of the sound. He said that, he travels a lot and anywhere he takes VOMO with him. (I saw how he packed it, with all extension cords and gear in it! )

He said that hi main concern was revisions and making then sound consistent with the rest of the take. With VOMO – there was never a problem!

Testimonial from the Experts

Before the actual product was available we sent a prototype sample to industry experts.

See what they have to say:

Sound ART Acoustic Room Treatment

With many audio editing platforms available today, recording can be done in the comfort of your own home, although it is not as easy as buying a microphone and pressing “Record”.  Room acoustics are paramount. Every professional recording studio is fine-tuned to get the best sound possible.  It requires expertise and costs thousands of dollars to do a proper job in acoustic room treatment.  Yet in-home audio recording studios this often underestimated.  It is much more fun to talk about expensive mics, EQ (equalizers) and latest software that “removes” noise and optimizes your tracks all by itself. How much is the Noise reduction of Acoustic Vocal booth?

This video demonstrates the soundproofing capacity of the AVB33 – Acoustic Vocal Booth. We tested it at the 2016 Summer NAMM show. Acoustic vocal booth primary purpose is to cut down on echo and reverberation for clear audio recording, but they also reduce the noise level.

Don’t Forget About Acoustics and Soundproofing When Designing a Home Studio

It goes without question that in today’s competitive world of voiceover, you will need to invest in a home studio of some kind. Your home studio will be essential for auditions, practice, and paid projects as they flow in. However, the cost of equipping a home studio may vary anywhere from a few hundred dollars to several thousand, depending on your individual needs.

producerschoicepic

When considering planning out your home recording studio, two important aspects must be addressed: soundproofing and acoustic room treatment. It’s quite obvious that your recordings should not have any sounds that do not belong such as traffic, barking dogs, noisy neighbors or a lawn mower passing by. Nonetheless, your recordings should not make you sound as if you are recording in a fish bowl either. Where do you start…

Do Producer’s Choice Acousic Blankets shrink after wash?

In this video we tested how much sound blankets shrink after wash. Producer’s Choice acoustic blankets shrink about 1-2 inches in length and width after the wash.
This happens because the blankets expand and get thicker.
This video also provides an interesting example of Producer’s choice acoustic blankets in action.
Most of the audio is done in an untreated environment of the Laundromat. The end summary was recorded using the same camera, but surrounded with Producer’s choice blankets.
There is a big difference in the quality of recording.
(Audio was not optimized or manipulated in any way.)
